IT Workforce Curation

Brief Description

The aim of the project is to create an overview and a classification of the current state of research on IT work in business informatics, esp. in the journal MIS Quarterly. Since the beginning of the journal, various researchers have intensively dealt with IT personnel and the design of IT work. The project systematizes these articles at the micro, meso, and macro levels and into five themes (IT professionals, IT work, governance, organizational policies, and IT careers). The IT Workforce Research Curation Team's publication "IT Workforce" now provides an overview of the “IT workforce” research published in MIS Quarterly. In the future, this overview will be continued by the IT Workforce Research Curation Team and supplemented with current research.
