Aim

The project seminar serves as preparation for the Bachelor's thesis. The course is therefore intended for students who will be writing their Bachelor's thesis at the Chair of Digital Transformation this semester. The project seminar and Bachelor's thesis belong together and cannot be taken separately.

Contents

In the project seminar, students deal with a scientific question from the field of digital transformation. Students prepare scientific research on a topic from the areas of digital platforms, digital service innovations or work of the future. Own topics are welcome and should be motivated in the application letter. The focus of the project seminar is usually on the planning of a structured literature analysis (Schreieck et al. 2016; Vom Brocke et al. 2009; Webster and Watson 2002) for a literature-based Bachelor's thesis or the development of a research gap and survey instrument for an empirical Bachelor's thesis.
